Telemundo 'Yo Soy El Artista' Recap: Pablo Is In the Bottom Two for the Fourth Straight Time
The 12 finalists kicked off "Yo Soy El Artista" with a group performance. Though only some of the contestants sometimes sing songs in English, the group performance had all 12 singers performing "Be My Baby" by Leslie Grace -- with a bachata twist.
Stefania and Pablo immediately found out who the public voted for; Pablo learned that he was once again saved by the voters.
Jenilca was the first contestant to sing for the night. She sang "Me Dueles" by Natalia Jiménez. This was the first time Jenilca sang on her own in the competition. Cathia followed Jenilca, and she sang "Chandelier" by Sia. She and her backup dancers were very inspired by the music video. Whatever she did paid off, as Cathia beat Jenilca.
Pablo also sang on his own. His song was "El Proximo Viernes" by Espinoza Paz. He was up against Envee, who sang "Es Mentiroso" by Olga Tañon. For Envee, this performance went out of her comfort zone. Envee was chosen as the winner.
Aaron and Suzy teamed up to sing a romantic song, but they didn't go up against another duo. Instead, Aaron and Suzy competed against Tairon, who sang a song his mother used to sing to him. Tairon ended up receiving a majority of the votes.
Nat'lee and Carlos also performed a duet. The two sang "Llorar" by Jesse and Joy. Carlos decided to sing, even though he was sick. Joanna and Cesar went head to head with Nat'lee and Carlos. The two sang "Adrenalina" by Wisin, Ricky Martin and Jennifer Lopez. Joanna and Cesar ended up taking that round.
Three finalists were given the opportunity to sing with judge Luis Fonsi: Cathia, Stefania and Aaron.
The performance must have brought Aaron luck, as he was saved from being in the bottom two. Carlos was saved by Lucero, and Jenilca is saved by Tañon.
This means Pablo will once again have to win the audience's vote. He is up against Susy.
