Britney Spears is known for showing plenty of skin when it comes to performances and music videos. It would appear, however, that the pop star has grown a bit more modest. She actually toned down the sexiness in her latest video, "Work Bitch."

Today, Spears called in to radio show, "The TJ Show" where she discussed her newest video. She spoke with the hosts, TJ and Loren, and told them how she asked the "Work Bitch" director Ben More to edit the video's footage to make it less racy.

"Oh my god, we showed way more skin and did way more stuff for the video then what is actually there," Spears said on the radio show. "Like, I cut out half the video because I am a mother and because, you know, I have children, and it's just hard to play sexy mom while you're being a pop star as well."

Spears has two sons. Sean Preston is eight years old and Jayden James is seven years old.

"I just have to be true to myself and feel it out when I do stuff," Spears said.

Spears also said that she misses the good old days when music videos simply featured a singer in one outfit doing a dance routine.

"A lot of sex goes into what I do, but sometimes I would like to bring it back to the old days when there was one outfit through the whole video, and you're dancing the whole video, and there's like not that much sex stuff going on," she said.

When it comes down to it, Spears is still a dancer at heart.

"It's about the dance and it's about being old school," Spears, 31, said. "It's like keeping it real and just making it about the dance. I'd love to do a video like that."

Recently, Spears announced a two-year-long stay in Las Vegas where she will have ample time to do all the dancing she wants.

"I'm such a cozy person," Spears told TJ and Loren. "I love being in my house, but I feel like I'm going to go a little crazy if I stay in my house too much and I just hang out and do nothing. I kinda like to perform-well, not kinda. I really like to perform and I like to do shows.I t's exciting and it's great to express yourself, so I think it's fun."

Spears will do two years at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino starting Dec. 27. The residency will be titled "Britney: Piece of Me."

The "I'm a Slave 4 U" singer will perform 50 shows in 2014 and 50 shows in 2015. Spears has been practicing five hours a day in preparation. Ticket prices begin at $59 and go as high as $179.

On Dec. 3, Spears' eighth studio album will be released, featuring "Work Bitch."
