Black Friday Fights and Brawls: Videos Show Shoppers Getting Aggressive [Watch]
Chaos and fighting erupted among Black Friday shoppers in stores across the country starting on Thanksgiving night.
According to CBS Los Angeles, two women engaged in a "pushing and shoving match" over a Barbie doll in Norwalk, California, on Thursday night. One woman allegedly punched the other, but officials said no one was arrested.
Meanwhile, a man was thrown out of a mall in Indianapolis, Indiana for being "too rowdy." He then got into a fight with another man in the parking lot, Fox 59 reports. As a result, both men were arrested.
A video recording shows a Wal-Mart shopper getting aggressive with another man over a Sony speaker set in Michigan City, Indiana, reports News Talk Florida. In the video, a young man wearing a Chicago Bears jersey tugs at the speakers as another man tries to take it out of his shopping cart.
In addition, two holiday shoppers were arrested following a brawl involving four women at a Kohl's store in Tustin, California. The two women were taken into custody on suspicion of assault and battery early Friday after getting into a fight with two other women near the baby department just after 1 a.m., police said.
Police were then called to the store, said Tustin police Sgt. Ryan Coe.
"We located two victims on the second floor near the baby section and two suspects on the first floor," Coe said, according to My News LA. "It looks like they got into an argument. It occurred on the second floor and a physical altercation ensued."
As a result, one victim was transported to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana for non-life-threatening injuries "as a precaution," Coe said. Another victim was checked out and released on the scene. It was also reported that one victim suffered lacerations.
The store, which is located on the 18100 block of Irvine Boulevard, remained open following the incident.
