During a recent interview on the "Meredith Vieira show," Tori Spelling announced her decision to continue on with her reality-TV show, "True Tori," despite her husband Dean McDermott's recent announcement about quitting the show, Us Weekly reports.

"For me, you know, it's True Tori. I have a lot more to tell. I have four children, I'm a mom, I'm a woman, and I want to go on," Spelling said about moving forward with the show.

Spelling's decision to move forward with "True Tori," comes right on the heels of McDermott telling Access Hollywood last month that he was tired of watching his relationship and infidelity issues play out on television.

"I'm not going to continue with the show," McDermott revealed. "We have five more shows left... I can't do this anymore. I can't keep opening a vein, opening my soul and sharing my feelings and thoughts and demons with the world."

"I don't watch it, I can't. It's really difficult... I can't do it any more, for my soul," he added.

Though McDermott described his appearance on "True Tori" as draining, Spelling told Vieira that filming the show was "cathartic" for her despite knowing that the world is watching her marital issues unfold on screen each week.

"It's completely cathartic for me and it's very individual," Spelling explained. "I know everyone has an opinion about me putting my life and relationship out there, and it's something... I needed that. I felt like I didn't have a voice for so long."

Despite the estranged couple's opposing view of the show, McDermott explained to Access Hollywood that he is still hopeful about the future success of his marriage to Spelling.

"I hold out a lot of hope. If you don't have hope what do you have? I love this woman, regardless of what I've done. I love her and want to be with her. I want to grow old with her," he said.
