True Tori Cast News: Dean McDermott Announces Decision to Leave Lifetime Show
During a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Dean McDermott announced his shocking decision to quit "True Tori."
Once the latest season of "True Tori" concludes, McDermott will no longer take part in future filming of the Lifetime series.
"I'm not going to continue with the show," McDermott told Access Hollywood. "We have five more shows left... I can't do this anymore. I can't keep opening a vein, opening my soul and sharing my feelings and thoughts and demons with the world."
Dermott also revealed his decision to not watch "True Tori's" current season on Lifetime.
"I don't watch it, I can't. It's really difficult... I can't do it any more, for my soul," he said.
Despite his negative feelings towards the show, McDermott still remains hopeful that his marriage to Tori Spelling will work out.
"I hold out a lot of hope. If you don't have hope what do you have? I love this woman, regardless of what I've done. I love her and want to be with her. I want to grow old with her," he said.
McDermott's surprising revelation comes on the heels of his response to tabloids that have labeled him as a monster for cheating on Tori Spelling.
"When you're at the checkout and you look over and you see one of these magazines and it's like, 'Dean McDermott's a monster,' I'm like, 'No, I'm not a monster, I'm a human being and I messed up,'" McDermott recently told Entertainment Tonight. "I messed up and I'm owning up to it and I'm getting help. But to label me a monster or evil is very hurtful."
Spelling has yet to respond to her husband's decision to quit the show.
A few weeks prior to McDermott's "True Tori" announcement, Spelling posted an Instagram photo of herself in the hospital suffering from pneumonia.

Spelling has since been released from the hospital and appeared to be looking healthy in a recent photograph of the reality-TV star obtained by Us Weekly.
Meanwhile, McDermott is gearing up to appear on "CSI."
"I went out an auditioned for a [part] on a 'CSI' and got it... [it's airing] December 14," McDermott told Access Hollywood.
