Aldo Sarabia Garcia Death: Son of Banda El Recodo Member Doesn't Think His Mother Is Behind His Father's Death
Aldo Sarabia Garcia, Jr. has essentially lost both of his parents. His father, Aldo Sarabia Garcia, was murdered in October, and his mother, Alma D. Chavez, and her boyfriend, have been arrested after being accused of planning the crime.
While Aldo Jr. mourns the death of his father, he also is having a hard time believing that his mother could have been behind the murder.
According to "Despierta América" hosts, Aldo Jr. said that everything seemed peaceful between his parents before the incident. He doesn't believe that his father sexually abused his mother and sister, nor does he think that his mother is capable of committing a crime.
Aldo Jr. said that the day before Chavez was arrested, she was very sad because her husband hadn't returned.
"I don't want to judge her because it's not proven," he said. "If in in the future, it's proven that she didn't do anything, I would feel so bad."
Aldo Jr. wants to do whatever he can to get his mother out of jail. He said that Chavez has always been a good mother to him.
Initially, it was reported that Chavez and her boyfriend, Yahir Alfredo Sandoval, had admitted to committing the crime.
Then, however, both Sandoval and Chavez spoke up and said that Sandoval killed the musician on his own.
Sandoval said that Aldo's death was a mistake, and he even asked for forgiveness.
"I didn't have any intention of killing him," he said. "It was an accident. I just wanted to clear up the relationship he had with Alma, so that he would leave her be. I had never killed anyone. I've been a troublemaker, but that's all."
In early November, Aldo Jr. explained that he was surprised to see his father's body because he looked unrecognizable.
Aldo's other son, Ernesto Sarabia, was much harsher with his mother.
"Everything seems to indicate that yes [she did it]," he said. "I don't think there's any reason it should have happened. I, personally, have not wanted to see her. These feelings have not left me, or better put, my heart is broken and my mind is in hundreds of parts. I'm like a dead person who is alive."
