Kanye West New Album 2014: Rihanna Leaks Upcoming Kanye West Tour Information
While rapper Kanye West has been busy recording his seventh solo studio album, fans have been anxiously awaiting details about the music superstar's next project. However, a recent charity event being promoted by singer Rihanna revealed that West is working on a 2015 tour -- before Kanye announced it himself.
While tweeting a link to the Diamond Ball auction items on Tuesday, Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Fenty, said that one of the gift packages up for grabs was a VIP ticket package for West's "upcoming North American 2015 tour."
Not only did the "Diamonds" singer reveal West would be touring next year, but by default that his album will likely be released before he sets out on the road.
The package listed an extensive night at a Kanye West show, including:
"Two (2) VIP tickets in city of your choice to a Kanye West concert date on his upcoming 2015 tour.
A Private Meet & Greet with Kanye West before the show.
A limited pair of Yeezy's in your size.
Autographed tour memorabilia.
Exclusive tour merchandise in winner's size."
Although the worth of the package was described as priceless, bidding started at $15,000 for the Dec. 2 event and continues through Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. EST. All of the proceeds collected from West's tickets and other pieces for sale will go toward the Clara Lionel Foundation, which was founded by Rihanna in honor of her grandparents Clara and Lionel Brathwaite. The CLF was founded in 2012 by the star and aims "to improve the quality of life for communities globally in the areas of health, education, arts, and culture."
Other auction items included diamond jewelry pieces, artwork, Rihanna tour experience packages, a meet-and-greet with Sir Paul McCartney and a Hard Rock Hotel vacation getaway package.
West has not publicly commented on the leaked tour information.
