"Glee" Season 6 has added a hunky new cast member to its already attractive and talented roster. So, who's the lucky fella?

Singer-songwriter and actor Billy Lewis Jr. confirmed via his website that he has joined the cast of "Glee" for its sixth and final season, according to BroadwayWorld.com.

Lewis got his start in regional theatre in his native Selden, Long Island, New York, which led him to the bright lights of New York City. Now, he's returning to the stage, but this time it will be on the set of "Glee."

Lewis gushed over the news, saying: "Set your DVRs!!! SO STOKED to finally announce, I've been lucky enough to join the cast of 'Glee' for their 6th and Final Season!!" Lewis wrote on his official website. "It's been quite the whirl-wind over the past couple months and I'm excited to keep sharing this crazy experience with everyone!"

Who will he play on the wildly popular FOX hit TV series?

Unfortunately, Lewis did not reveal which character he will play. On the other hand, Gleeks need not to worry; Lewis did reveal that he will play one of the five additional characters that will be introduced to the show as new members of New Directions.

This may be Lewis' first TV gig, but he's no stranger to the stage. For the past several years, he has been busy writing music and working in professional regional theatre with an impressive line-up of shows, from "The Who's Tommy" to "Spring Awakening" and "Hedwig & the Angry Inch."

He's also hit the road to further his craft and was featured in national touring companies of "Hair," "Spring Awakening" and "We Will Rock You."

In July, Billy released his debut EP of original music, produced by Jack Daley, as well as two music videos and a live release performance at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater in NYC, according to his official bio.

"Glee" Season 6 also stars Melissa Benoist, Becca Tobin, Jacob Artist, Blake Jenner, Darren Criss, Chord Overstreet, Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Dianna Agron, Heather Morris, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Matthew Morrison, Mike O'Malley, Naya Rivera and Jenna Ushkowitz, among others.

The wait is almost over, "Gleeks!" "Glee" returns on Friday, Jan. 9 with a two-hour premiere starting at 8/7c on FOX.
