Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli Relationship News 2014: Couple Joins Maite Perroni, Other Telenovela Stars for Holiday Music Video [Watch]
All of your favorite Televisa stars have gotten together to wish you a happy holiday season.
In a new video by Televisa, stars from "Lo Que la Vida Me Robó," "Sabadazo" and upcoming telenovela "Muchacha Italiana" gathered around to lip sync to "La Vida Es Mejor Cantando," a song made popular by former band Timbiriche. The videos were shot way in advance, as some of these shows are no longer in the air in either Mexico or the United States.
The video appropriately kicks off with the people from "Bailando Por Un Sueño" dancing.
And they are not the only ones who are seen doing a choreographed dance. Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli clap along. "Va Por Ti" host Galilea Montijo is seen snapping her fingers, and Maite Perroni and her team from "La Gata" display more skilled dance moves.
When the singing actually begins, Boyer takes the reins. The camera focuses on her as she and the rest of the "Lo Que la Vida Me Robó" cast sing along to the song.
Although David Zepeda only recently joined the cast of "Hasta El Fin Del Mundo," he is featured in the video. Pedro Fernandez, who Zepeda replaced, is not shown.
For the stars of the super serious telenovela "La Malquerida," the video is a chance for the actors to show off their personalities. Ariadne Diaz particularly shines as she playfully bumps into her co-stars. She is later seen being kissed by two of her cast mates.
At the end of the video, Televisa thanks its fans.
"For being with us another year, thank you," the message reads in Spanish.
Univision previously released its own version of the video, which is less flashy. It has been airing on the network since after Thanksgiving. The video includes some of the same footage from Televisa but cuts out actors from telenovelas that have yet to air in the United States, as well as other celebrities that would be unrecognizable to an American audience.
Both videos prompt followers to use the hashtag #LaVidaEsMejor on social media.
On the Televisa site specifically dedicated to this holiday video, there is a section where people can make their own "La Vida Es Mejor" videos.
