Why Nicole Kidman Wishes Every Month That She is Pregnant
Academy award winning actress, Nicole Kidman is Elle Magazine's January 2014 cover girl.
In addition to gracing the cover of Elle in a short white frock, Kidman was also candid in her cover story about her marriage to Keith Urban and her hopes to become pregnant again one day, ABC News reports.
Kidman-who is already the proud mother of four children-revealed that she wishes to continue having children.
"I had my last one at 43," the now 47-year-old actress revealed. "My grandmother had her last at 49. Every month, I'm like, 'I hope I'm pregnant!'"
ABC News reports that Kidman's first two children are from her marriage with Tom Cruise. Her last two children, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret are with her current husband Keith Urban whom she married after less than a month of dating.
When asked why she chose to marry Urban so quickly, Kidman responded, "I'm spontaneous. I jump in. I kind of like getting married and then getting to know each other; I know that it sounds incredibly strange, but to me, it's a more natural process."
The Huffington Post reports that Urban and Kidman first announced their engagement in May 2006 and married that June.
Since then, the couple appear to be going strong in their relationship.
During a recent interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Kidman gushed over Urban who she said helped her greatly as she grieved over her father's death in September.
"He has been so good to me for nine years, but for the last month, which has been a really tough time for me, he's been amazing," Kidman told DeGeneres in October.
She continued, "To have my husband just step up that way...it makes me cry. We all go through hard times in our lives, but to be literally carried by your partner, and physically, at times, because I was so devastated. I'll do anything for that man."
