Comedy Central 'The Colbert Report' Last Episode: Final Episodes of Stephen Colbert Show to Feature 'i' Rapper Kendrick Lamar, Others
"The Colbert Report" is expected to have an unforgettable ending, as several special guests are invited for its final week, including Kendrick Lamar.
Comedy Central (via Entertainment Weekly) has announced the guest lineup for next week. Host Stephen Colbert will be welcoming "The Interview" star Seth Rogen on Monday, followed by the TDE rapper on Tuesday and National Book Award recipient Phil Klay on Wednesday. His final guest will be his "colleague and lifelong friend," Grim "Grimmy" Reaper.
K. Dot will most likely perform the first and latest single "i" off his highly anticipated album and sit down for a captivating interview.
After signing off on Dec. 18, Colbert is set to take over for David Letterman on "The Late Show" next year. "Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" will take the place of "The Colbert Report," beginning on Monday, Jan. 19.
Meanwhile, the Compton-native lyricist recently signed an endorsement deal with Reebok, explaining why he decided to team up with the athletic brand.
"Reebok has a history of helping kids in the community realize their potential is limitless," he said in a statement. "I saw what the brand was doing, and I wanted to be a part of it and make it even stronger. It's as simple as that. Kids that listen to my music are looking for inspiration. It's important that I continue that message in anything I represent."
With that being said, the "B*tch, Don't Kill My Vibe" hitmaker's new partnership with Reebok is quite meaningful to him.
"I identify with originality, and with a brand that identifies with culture in the community and with my memories of wearing them in middle school, it proves just that," he said.
Kendrick Lamar's upcoming capsule collection, including the limited-edition Ventilator styles, is set for a release in June 2015.
