EA UFC on Xbox One & Playstation 4: Brock Lesnar, Other Legends Added in Content Pack
Brock Lesnar is featured in the EA Sports video game titled UFC, despite being just a part-time UFC fighter, for now.
A content update to the game included Lesnar (5-3 in UFC) even though he just came back to the UFC to take on Alistair Overeem last week. Lesnar lost the match, but now there's rumors that he could be making a comeback to the UFC full time.
Lesnar did not look good in his return to the UFC last week; he couldn't even last one round.
"I don't think Brock Lesnar is coming back for a number of reasons. One of them is that he'll get his *ss kicked, and he doesn't like that. So I think he's going to stay right where he is, in WWE," Overeem told the MMA Hour recently.
In the UFC video game, Lesnar is a great fighter to pick. He's considered a legend in the game, so of course EA Sports is going to make him dominant in the game.
Legends also added to content pack five were the following:
- Mark Coleman - Heavyweight Divison
- Matt Hughes - Welterweight Division
- Rampage Jackson - Light Heavyweight Division
Since the game first came out, there has been 14 new fighters added to the game.
It's great that EA Sports and the UFC is trying to keep this game updated. The UFC is constantly changing with new fighters, rivalries and signings. If this game wants to continue its success, it is going to need to update itself as much as possible.
UFC stands for Ultimate Fighting Championship. It is a mixed martial arts form of boxing and wrestling. You are allowed to kick, grapple, punch and perform submission holds. Unlike boxing and professional wrestling, there are less rules, and it's a more pure form of fighting.
What do you think of the UFC? Is it a fun sport? Have you tried the video game yet? Leave us a comment and let us know.
