Jennifer Lopez is once again an "American Idol" judge. She will sit alongside Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. for season 13 of the show, but deciding to return after a year-long break was a difficult decision for the singer-actress.

Lopez appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" where she revealed her emotions about returning to "American Idol."

"It was actually a difficult decision because I had a lot of stuff going on," Lopez said. "It was going to be hard to fit it in, but to be really honest, I just love the show and I love working with the singers."

Lopez is also reportedly getting along with the other two judges, Urban and Connick Jr. "...this is working really great," Lopez said about the team of judges. "So yeah, we're having a great time. At the end of the day, everything that's meant to be happens."

Lopez should have plenty of time to focus on her "American Idol" duties as the 44-year-old star recently told Cosmopolitan that she no longer has the energy to party and balance her work.

"Once it gets past 12, I'm like, 'Oh, it's getting late.' If you're hanging around some after party until the wee hours, how are you supposed to take five meetings in a row the next day?" Lopez told the magazine in their November issue.

The glamorous, attention-loving Lopez also told Cosmopolitan about her hatred of being ignored. She even told this to her boyfriend Casper Smart, real name Beau, early in their relationship.

"It's funny, early on with Beau, I remember telling him how I have a real button on being ignored," Lopez said. ""And he was like, 'Listen, if somebody ignores you, then forget them. They don't deserve to have your attention'. But it's funny. Sometimes when we don't get it, we try to get it in a negative way, you know?"
