Nike Release Dates 2014: KD 7 ‘Wild West’, LeBron 12 ‘Data’, Kobe 9 High KRM EXT ‘Challenge Red’ – Price, Where to Buy, Photos
Nike will release the new colorways of the KD 7, LeBron 12 and Kobe 9 High on Friday, and all three signature shoes are expected to get plenty of attention on the sneaker market.
The KD 7, Kevin Durant's seventh Nike signature shoe, will be released in "Wild West" edition, which is officially listed as the Metallic Silver/Urban Orange-Wolf Grey-Pure Platinum colorway of this model.
The KD 7 "Wild West" features a wolf grey and silver-based upper part combined with urban orange hints finished off with a grey outsole. According to Nike, this edition was inspired by Durant's collegiate basketball career with the Texas Longhorns, which is the reason why this colorway is also dubbed as the "Texas" edition.
"The KD7 Wild West shoe takes inspiration from the Longhorn State and the Austin culture that Durant enjoyed. Knowing little about Texas and southwest hospitality, Durant immediately felt at home when he arrived on campus in Austin," Nike wrote in a statement. "The friendly welcome extended beyond the basketball court as Durant enjoyed the music, people, food and culture that were distinctly Austin."
The KD 7 "Wild West" will be available starting Friday, 8 a.m. EST, with retail price set at $150 per pair for men's sizes and $115 per pair for kids sizes in select Nike Stores worldwide. More photos of this shoe are available on this link.
Nike will also release the LeBron 12, LeBron James' latest signature shoe, in "Data" edition, which is officially listed as the Black/Bright Mango-Hyper Punch-Volt colorway of this popular model.
This edition, which was inspired by James' unique skill set that made him arguably the best player in the world today, features a black-based upper part combined with bright mango, hyper punch and volt hints. It is finished off with an icy blue translucent outsole.
The LeBron 12 "Data" will be available for $200 per pair in select Nike retailers worldwide. More detailed images of this new LeBron 12 are available on this link.
Aside from the new KD 7 and LeBron 12, Nike is also set to release the new Kobe 9 KRM EXT, which will hit shelves in "Challenge Red" edition. According to Nike, the high-top edition of Bryant's signature shoe embodies the "aesthetic and attitude of the venomous Red Viper."
The Kobe 9 KRM EXT "Challenge Red" will be available for $275 per pair. Fans can check out more photos of this excellent-looking shoe through this link.
