Paulina Rubio, Latina Superstar, Launches Exclusive Collection with JustFab
Paulina Rubio, Latina superstar, signed on for a brand partnership with JustFab, launching her own collection of shoes and handbags to be sold exclusively on the JustFab website, beginning October 3rd.
The Mexican singer, businesswoman, actress, competition judge and businesswoman, prepared a collection that includes 13 shoe options and nine handbag varieties, all which capture the bright personality and compelling personal style of the starlet. The X-Factor judge's collection features boots of different styles and varieties from biker chic to pop star classic. The heels are striking and come in cool colors, and the bags are the perfect blend of functional and fashionable. Rubio's debut collection presents items that the singer could easily be spotted wearing while performing, or while hosting a show.
"Paulina Rubio was a natural fit for the JustFab brand as she's always dressed for the spotlight; both onstage and off," said Sandra Diaz, senior vice president of marketing for JustFab.
Kimora Lee Simmons presides over the subscription fashion retailer, which sells shoes, jewelry, denim and handbags. $39.95 per month grants customers a "personal stylist" selection of items based on the results of a survey regarding fashion preferences; and members receive one item each month, able to choose from whichever retailer or item they desire. Other celebrities who've launched collections with the website include Avril Lavigne, and Elle and Blair Fowler.
Rubio began her career as a performer in a seven-member band, Timbiriche, releasing 11 albums while part of the group. She released her first solo album after she relocated to Spain, La Chica Dorada. Her fifth album Border Girl earned her followers in the English-language market; as well as subsequent albums, Pau-Latina, Anada, Gran City Pop and Brava. Rubio has appeared in a number in telenovelas and films, she was a coach on La Voz Mexico and La Voz, and is currently a judge/mentor on The X Factor (US).
