Britney Spears, 33, is sporting a bikini and black jacket along with toned abs on the January-February 2015 cover of Women's Health, but that's not what everyone is buzzing about. The pop star's face looks so different she is barely recognizable. Is it simply makeup contouring, a nose job or a drastic Photoshop touch-up?

A behind-the-scenes video reveals the answer to be makeup contouring, reports E! Online. The mother-of-two's appearance is the same in the video as it is on the magazine cover. The magazine cover photo shoot included lighting and makeup application that gave the "Piece of Me" singer sharpened facial features and a more defined look.

The facial changes caught on film are a result of a makeup technique called "contouring." The technique is responsible for her slimmer nose and higher cheek bones.

The next question is how did the star achieve those firm abs? In the magazine, Spears said fitness is behind her toned physique after having two kids.

"After I had Jayden, it was real easy for me to get back in shape," she said. "But five years later, I started noticing changes in my body. My hips are a little bit wider because I've had kids. So it was crucial for me to be continuous with my exercise."

The pop princess said that daily exercise is important for her mentally and physically. She does not mind working out.

Living in Las Vegas, Spears juggles motherhood, a workout regimen and a busy work schedule. Added to the mix is a new boyfriend of about two months: writer, producer and entrepreneur Charlie Ebersol, 31. In early November, E! Online reported that the pop star and Ebersol met through friends and had been dating for a few weeks.

When People magazine asked Ebersol about his relationship with Spears during a recent interview, he was coy, but told the magazine he thinks the "Perfume" singer has "an enormous heart."
