Since the tragic death of Paul Walker just over a year ago, little has been revealed of the upcoming Fast and Furious sequel "Furious 7." The mystery surrounding how the production would deal with Walker's untimely death has been a hot point of Hollywood inquiry since the news broke. Here's a recap of what we know so far regarding the new chapter in the "Fast and Furious" universe.

Walker had almost completed shooting his scenes for the film when the Porsche Carrera GT he was in crashed into a tree, killing the actor and the driver.

Now through speculation and insider knowledge we know that Paul Walker's scenes will be filled out with the help of his two brothers. They will be filling as body doubles for Walker in the scenes he was unable to complete and may possibly play a part in future "Fast and Furious" movies.

In the meantime it seems fans have some more news regarding the ending scene of "Fast and Furious 6," (SPOILER ALERT) where we see Jason Statham walking towards Han's car set ablaze. He then calls Dom (played by Vin Diesel) and says, "You don't know me, you are about to."

Until now, fans weren't 100 percent sure what all that was about. We now know, however, that Jason Statham will be portraying the character of Ian Shaw, the brother of Owen Shaw who (SPOILER ALERT) was killed by Dom and the crew. So it stands to reason that Statham will be playing the main antagonist in the film.

Both Statham and Diesel had nothing but good things to say about each other to the press regarding their time spent working together. Statham said to

"There's nothin' better than that car stuf," Statham told Entertainment Weekly in June 2013. "I've never seen anything to compare to it. And Vin is terrific. Everybody in it is just terrific. They're a great little crew ... I've met all of them, and they're all really cool. I'm really excited to be involved with it ... I'm just not gonna tell ya what I'm gonna do."

Diesel shared his love for Statham in a November interview with E! News,

"He's incredible," he said. "The amount of work that he did for our third act fight sequence, I was just so happy that he was just so gung ho about it and so dedicated."

"Furious 7" is set to hit theaters on April 3, 2015.
