Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has been by far the most criticized player in the league this season.

After receiving a seven-year, $126 million contract with $54 million guaranteed, Cutler has failed to meet expectations.

This season, Cutler leads the league with 18 interceptions and 24 total turnovers. This is the second time in Cutler's career he has led the NFL in interceptions. Having said that, the Bears are ready to move on, and Chicago fans want a new quarterback.

Here are five teams who may make a trade for Cutler this offseason:

1. Houston Texans

It's amazing that the Texans are 7-7 despite not having a reliable quarterback the entire season.

The Texans rank 25th in passing yards, even though they have stud receivers like Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins. Ryan Fitzpatrick may have a Harvard education, but injuries and inconsistent play always hold him back. Would Cutler lead the Texans to a Super Bowl? Probably not. But let's be honest, he's a better option than Fitzpatrick or Ryan Mallet. In the terrible division that is the AFC South, the Texans could make a lot of noise with an average quarterback like Cutler.

2. Arizona Cardinals

This would be a tough one because the Cardinals don't have a lot of salary cap space at the moment. With Carson Palmer unable to play with a torn ACL, the Cardinals may want to consider trading for Cutler and releasing players at other positions. Playing with the Cardinals would certainly give Cutler a lot of options to throw to like Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd. Bruce Arians is one of the best coaches in the NFL today, and he could do a lot of good things with Cutler as his quarterback.

3. St. Louis Rams

Another NFC West team that needs a quarterback.

The Rams have started nine different quarterbacks since 2009. To make matters worse, Sam Bradford hasn't shown he can stay healthy. Playing in a dome and on a team that has little expectations could be the best thing for Cutler going forward. Unlike the Bears, the Rams have a good defense that can get stops. The only issue here is Cutler would have to face the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers defense four times a year. Cutler facing Richard Sherman could paint a nasty picture for Cutler.

4. Buffalo Bills

The Bills are the early front-runners to land Cutler this offseason. The Bills' defense leads the NFL in sacks and ranks fifth overall in the league. This Bills defense is for real. The biggest issue for the Bills continues to be who throws the football. Former first round draft pick EJ Manuel is looking like a draft bust, and Cutler could be the best option. Cutler has shown he can play outdoors very well in Chicago and Denver, so Buffalo's weather shouldn't have a huge impact on his performance. The Bills have only passed for 300 yards in one game this entire season.

5. Washington Redskins

The Redskins have the most underrated defense in the NFL. The Redskins defense ranks 10th overall and seventh against the rush. As usual, the issue is the quarterback. Robert Griffin III has highlighted his Redskins career with drama, injuries, poor play and one Rookie of the Year Award. Could we see an RG3-for-Cutler trade straight up? Head coach Jay Gruden has made it loud and clear that he isn't the biggest Griffin fan in the world. Cutler isn't an elite quarterback, but he could be an improvement over Griffin in the nation's capital.
