Spotify is one of the most popular programs for legally streaming music. It is a free program, but if you really want to enjoy the service, you have to pay $9.99 per month. Now, however, the company wants individuals to try the service for three months for just $.99.

So, what exactly is the difference between the free service and the paid service known as Spotify Premium?

The free service offers "millions of songs, made possible by ads" from a computer, tablet or mobile device.

The premium service offers everything the free services and more. Users can play "any song, anywhere" without any type of commitment, and no ads or interruptions will occur. Listeners are also able to play songs offline.

Latin Post did a trial of Spotify Premium prior to a long flight. Songs downloaded quickly for offline playing, and those songs remain in our library for future listening. In addition, the audio quality was great, and the selection of music was incredible.

A special Spotify Premium trial is available for Sprint customers. If they have a Family Share Pack, or $60 Unlimited or a Simply Unlimited plan, they get six months free. After that, it is only $7.99 for the next 18 months, and then it reverts back to $9.99 per month until the user cancels.

Any other Sprint customer can try Spotify Premium free for three months, and then it reverts to $9.99 a month.

Students too can enjoy a discount on Spotify Premium. They will pay just $4.99 a month for Spotify Premium and can get this discount for up to 12 consecutive months.
