Rihanna Hot New Album Release News 2014: 'Stay' Singer Reportedly Registers 11 Tracks, Working with OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder
Rihanna has reportedly registered 11 brand new tracks off her highly anticipated eighth studio album.
According to The Sun (via Unreality TV), the "#R8" songs that the Barbadian star has protected with the publishers include Glass John-produced "Kiss It Better," which she recently teased on her Instagram account, as well as "All Night," "Ignite Me," "Ehh," "I Saw a Girl," "Intoxicated," "Overload," "Transducer," "Drive Alone," Where I Belong" and very questionable "Burritos."
However, RiRi has yet to confirm whether the aforementioned tracks will actually make the cut for the upcoming record's tracklist or not.
The publication also claimed the song credits indicate that the "Stay" singer has been working with OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder.
So when will Rihanna drop her album? Last month, Dash Radio's DJ Skee revealed that she met up with her record label's bosses to debut her new music. "The project is a lot closer than anyone realized, including her own record label," he said. "Last weekend in New York City, she took a couple Def Jam executives to a top secret location and played ten new records."
The radio host then estimated the release date of the follow-up to 2012's "Unapologetic," expecting to be before the year's end. "So, that means she's trying to put out a project to capitalize off the fourth quarter craziness," he said.
Meanwhile, the "Pour It Up" hitmaker is certainly excited for fans to hear her latest project, as she said during a meet-and-greet at Virginia's Fort Belvoir (via The Associated Press): "I try to battle myself and outdo everything I've done and that's been the hardest thing to do. You start overthinking things at times. I can't wait for everybody to hear [the music] little by little ... little by little. I can't wait."
