'Que te Perdone Dios' Telenovela: 5 Clues About Univision's Upcoming Show From the Actors' Social Media Updates [Pics]
"Que te Perdone Dios" is the next telenovela from Univision, and though it is starting on Jan. 19, not too many details have been revealed.
Luckily, some of the stars of the telenovela has shared some images from set. Iran Castillo will be playing a younger version of Abigail's mother, Renata, TV Notas reports, and she has been particularly generous with her fans. Castillo has shared some of the most revealing images of the show so far, but other stars have also offered some clues.
Here are five things that are likely to be true based on the celebrities' social media pages.
1. Renata may not have been too young when she had to give up her child.
Castillo is reportedly the young version of Renata, but when she is forced to give up her child by her father, she likely won't be a teenager. Castillo has shared images of herself working alongside Eric del Castillo, who will be playing her father.
In one image, he is seen yelling at her. In another, she is on her knees, possibly begging him to be understanding.
As Castillo is in her 30s, it is likely that a young Renata will be in her early 20s.
2. Renata will go through a huge transformation.
Another image Castillo shares shows her swimming. She's smiling in the images, and appears to be carefree.
But when Rebecca Jones portrays the same character, she is likely to be different after having to live most of her life without raising her daughter. Instead, Univision reports, Abigail considers Renata her godmother.
3. Castillo may not be on the show for its entire run.
Castillo has a special role in the telenovela, and because she has been shooting many scenes, it may be possible that Castillo won't be on the show for the entire run.
She may be getting her scenes out of the way quickly.
One of the images she shared features her at a funeral, though it's not easy to tell what character has died.
4. Mark Tacher and Rebecca Jones may share many scenes together.
Tacher shared an image of himself sitting next to Jones, who will be playing an adult Renata. The two had scripts in their hands, so they were likely rehearsing scenes.
Tacher is going to be the love interest for Renata's daughter.
5. "Que te Perdone Dios" may seem reminiscent of Telemundo's "Tierra de Reyes." Though the storylines may be completely different, there are a few similarities between the two shows. They both take place on a ranch, and there's a trio of brunette on both.
People might end up comparing the two because they have the same kind of feel.
