Who would have thought Walter White would ever apologize...and to Britney Spears of all people.

Recently, Spears appeared on Z100, a New York radio station, to promote her new music and Las Vegas residency. Eventually, the conversation shifted to the epic "Breaking Bad" finale that captivated audiences on Sept. 29.

The pop queen was not happy that Walter finally got his comeuppance.

"I thought it was really sad," she said. "I didn't like it at all. I don't think [Walt] should have died."

Spears even maintains hope that "Felina" was not the last episode of "Breaking Bad" at all.

"Maybe they'll do another episode where the ambulance comes and revives him or something," she said.

Bryan Cranston, who played Walter White in the AMC series, tweeted at Spears asking for her full opinion on the finale and mysteriously hinting that things might not be over yet. Unfortunately, he tweeted at the wrong "Brittney Spear5."

"To @BrittneySpear5. Not happy with the Breaking Bad finale? Or just sad that Walt died? Glad you felt for him. RIP W.W. maybe I'm still here," Cranston said via Twitter.

Cranston may have merely been referring to a fan theory that the last episode was a dream sequence. It does not seem likely Walter White will "wake up" with a season 6 premiere, especially since Cranston is moving on to new roles.

On Sunday, producer Jeffrey Richards announced Cranston would come to Broadway in All the Way where he will play former President Lyndon B. Johnson as he fights to get the Civil Rights Act of 1964 passed.
