Another film about William Shakespeare is coming to movie theaters. "Bill" will be a comedy starring well-known British troupe Horrible Histories.

The trailer for the Shakespeare comedy film "Bill" debuted exclusively on Digital Spy on Dec. 18. On top of featuring award-winning British TV performers Horrible Histories, who have been likened to comedy group Monty Python, there will also be some big guest stars.

"Bill" will be filled with intrigue and mostly comedy and will focus on Shakespeare's "Lost Years," where he was a hopeless lute player who decided to leave his family in pursuit of his dreams in London, Digital Spy reported. The movie will also include spies, love interests, murderous kings and a plot to kill Queen Elizabeth.

The film will star Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard and Ben Willbond. They will give life to at least 40 characters in the movie.

Baynton, from Horrible Histories, will play the title role of Shakespeare. "Homeland" star Damien Lewis will make a cameo in the film, The Telegraph reported. And, Helen McCrory ("Skyfall") will play Queen Elizabeth.

There have been many movie adaptations, as well as plays, based on the British author and playwright. There was the 1998 film "Shakespeare in Love" that was loosely based off of his life, the 1996 movie "Romeo + Juliet" starring Leonardo Dicaprio and Claire Danes, and Elizabeth Taylor starred in the 1967 film "The Taming of the Shrew."

"Bill" is directed by Richard Bracewell and written by Laurence Rickard and Ben Willbond.

The movie will debut in U.K. movie theaters on March 27, 2015.
