On Friday, rapper and actor Ludacris proposed to his longtime girlfriend Eudoxie Mbouguiyengue aboard a private jet while the couple traveled with friends and family for a holiday vacation, Billboard reports.

As the couple boarded the plane, the words "Eudoxie, Will you Marry Me" appeared on the grass near the plane. Among the friends and family who witnessed the proposal were Ludacris' cousin and singer, Monica, and singer and actress, Letoya Luckett.

Following the proposal, Ludacris, Mbouguiyengue, Monica and Luckett all took to Instagram to share the marital news and relish in the excitement of the successful mile-high proposal.

Mbouguiyengue described the experience as the "best day of my life," and Ludacris professed his excitement that his now fiancee said "hell yes" to the proposal.

Meanwhile, Monica expressed her support of the now engaged couple and revealed that she would be #Bestwoman at the upcoming wedding. Luckett also shared her excitement and congratulated the couple on Instagram.

E! News reports that Ludacris, whose real name is Chris Bridges, has been dating Mbouguiyengue since 2009. Billboard adds that Mbouguiyengue is a native of Gabon in West Central Africa and founder of the nonprofit organization Unspoken Angels.

According to its website, Unspoken Angels is a nonprofit agency that "supports, educates, inspires and empowers women of the United States and West Africa, as it provides safe and comforting environments, infused with positive initiatives for females ages 16 to 30 who have experienced verbal, mental and sexual abuses."

Mbouguiyengue created this organization following her struggles growing up in West Central Africa.
