Today, Britney Spears announced the title of her eighth studio album, and this time she's getting sentimental.

Spears' upcoming album, which will feature her latest single, "Work Bitch," will be titled Britney Jean, a nickname of the singer herself.

"It's a personal album, and all my family they always call me Britney Jean, it's like a term of endearment and I just wanted to share that with my fans," Spears said on Capital Breakfast, a U.K. radio show.

Not much is known about the album yet, and Spears was very secretive when Capital Breakfast's hosts asked her about collaborations. Still, the pop queen seems excited about the upcoming release.

"One of the most beautiful songs I have recorded in a LONG time :)," Spears said on Aug. 20 via Twitter.

A collaboration with William Orbit called "Aliens" is also expected to appear on Britney Jean.

"This guy named William Orbit - he's from London and he's spectacular," Spears said on Billy The Kidd, a radio show. "I did this song with him called 'Aliens', which is really cool. It's really great."

will.i.am, who featured Spears on his single "Scream & Shout," is already a fan of the tune.

"The song @britneyspears did with #williamORBIT is fabulous and out of this world... #THEbritneyARMYwillBEproud," will.i.am said via Twitter.

Britney's army can also look forward to a slow jam called "Perfume."

"I love the 'Perfume' song," Spears said on "Good Morning America." "It's really beautiful. It's a ballad."

Britney Jean will be released Dec. 3.
