On Sunday, French actor Olivier Martinez, Halle Berry's husband, was reportedly named as a suspect in a pending battery investigation that emerged following Martinez's scuffle with an airport employee.

TMZ reports Martinez apparently knocked over an LAX airport employee with an empty car seat for allegedly getting "too close" to him, Berry and their children as they exited the airport from the Tom Bradley International Terminal in Los Angeles, California

TMZ obtained video footage of the scuffle which shows the employee on the floor after Martinez pushes him with the car seat. In the video, Martinez, Berry and their children can be seen entering the terminal with their security team urging the paparazzi to back away and make room for the family to exit the airport.

"They've got their kids with them guys ... back away," their bodyguard says.

As the family continues to walk towards the exit, the unidentified airport employee can be seen walking towards the family to snap a photo. However, Martinez immediately pushes the worker to the ground with the car seat.

Following the push, one paparazzo is heard shouting various phrases to antagonize Berry and Martinez.

"That's an employee! That's assault! Wow! That's assault and battery! In America, you can't get away with that," the man says.

The paparazzo then urges Berry to "call the police on your man" because "violence in front of children is not the answer."

"I hope [Olivier] doesn't hit you at home," the paparazzo adds.

Neither Martinez nor Berry responds to the paparazzo in the video and are instead seen entering their vehicle with their children and driving off.

TMZ reports the employee has since filed a battery report and received medical care at the airport after complaining of abdominal pain following the incident.

Us Weekly reports that Martinez was at the scene of another violent incident with Berry's ex Gabriel Aubry in November 2012. He was treated at a hospital following a physical altercation with Aubry over Berry.
