Fitbit and other fitness trackers are now being on seen more widely on wrists of people all over the U.S. Now, you can get a Fitbit Flex for just $99.

The Fitbit Flex took the succes of the One and Zip and made those even better. Those two devices were not made for the wrist. Runners and walkers had to worry that their devices would fall out of their pockets.

The Flex is similar to a wristwatch. It still tracks steps and sleep, but there is no digital display showing the actual count of steps.

Instead of a digital readout of the amount of steps you have taken, you will see five LEDs indicating your progress towards 10,000 steps per day. Each light represents 20 percent of your 100 percent goal. If you get to 10,000 steps (the fifth light), your Flex's lights will light up and buzz in celebration.

The Flex will also keep track of your calories burned and amount of time active. This is a great thing to encourage inactive individuals to get up and move.

The accuracy of the Flex might not be perfect but it sure will get you close to what you want. Try wearing the Flex on your weak hand, the opposite hand than what you write or throw a ball with. This could give you better, more accurate results.

The wristband on the Flex is a little funky. Instead of a watch with a simple band, it's more of a locking system with prongs. The first time you try to get the prongs to match up might be a little difficult.

Syncing the Flex to your computer or phone is simple. Currently it offers both USB and Bluetooth syncing. Bluetooth is the most convenient because it does it automatically. Android syncing is not available as of yet, but according to Google, there will be a new way to connect to devices like Fitbit.

If you have trouble with your Fitbit the company offers a great help page.
