'Words with Friends' Tips, Scoring and Cheats 2015: How to Win a Tough Game
"Words with Friends" is a tough game. Users try and use a gameboard to assemble words and get as many points as possible.
What happens when a user goes on a losing streak or is only getting small words like "is" and "you?" Sometimes a little help or tips are needed.
Tips: Always look for triple word score tiles. On "Words," these are marked in orange tiles that say "TW." Even the smallest words tripled can get loads of points.
Build off of other words. If an opponent places "Cat" and you have an "S," make sure to create "Cats" and make another word of your own with that S.
Read a dictionary: Look for small words and rare words. Sometimes you can amaze your opponent with a rare word like "Za" or "Tram."
Do not leave TWs open: If you are creating a word and you see that it leaves your opponent open to a triple word tile, do not make that move. This could be very harmful for your game if you make this move.
Cheat: Use a word generator online. This is an easy way to get an easy word, but it is not exactly fair to your opponent. You have seven letters at any one time, Simply type these letters into a website like scrabblefinder, and several words will be generated as results. It's an easy, yet cheap way to rack up some big points on "Words."
Strange letters, use them: Js and Qs are worth 10 points. So are Zs. Xs are worth 8. Use these letters wisely. Words like "zany" or "exact" can get you a ton of points, especially if you use them on triple word or triple letter tiles
