Golden Globes 2015 Preview, Predictions & Live Stream: Tina Fey & Amy Poehler Host One Last Time; Gina Rodriguez Up for Award
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be back on the Golden Globes stage as hosts.
The 2015 award show takes place on Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, according to the network. NBC will have a live stream of the show on its site, which will include red carpet arrivals, which starts at 7 p.m. ET.
The awards will be filled with plenty of other stars. A full list of the presenters was recently released, according to ABC News.
Latinas Jennifer Lopez and Salma Hayek are among the presenters. Some others include Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Dornan, Kevin Hart, Lupita Nyong'o and Chris Pratt.
A few Latinos are also up for awards.
Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu is nominated for Best Director for the critically-acclaimed "Birdman." Mexican jazz drummer Antonio Sanchez is nominated for Best Original Score for the same movie.
Gina Rodriguez is nominated for Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy for CW Show "Jane the Virgin." The show is also nominated for Best TV Series, Musical or Comedy.
On Friday, the Golden Globes website named some of the currently nominated movies as winners, according to Deadline. Therefore, it was reported that perhaps "Selma" and "Into the Woods" would be some of Sunday night's winners.
Bluefin, the team behind the Globes's website, said it was just a mistake.
"While testing the official website of the Golden Globe Awards for Sunday's ceremony, Bluefin inadvertently took the test live," a spokesperson said. "We randomly selected two film titles with no knowledge of the category winners. We are solely responsible for the error."
"Birdman," which is up for seven awards, has a good chance of taking home an award. Director Iñárritu especially stands a good chance of winning.
For Rodriguez, winning in her category will prove to be difficult. Julia Louis-Dreyfus of "Veep" is possibly the one to beat, though perhaps "Jane the Virgin" will have a better chance to win the Best TV Series, Musical or Comedy category.
As for the red carpet, Nyong'o is sure to be one of the best dressed. Last award season, she was the darling of the red carpet, and it is likely that she won't disappoint at the Globes, though she is not nominated for anything.
Lopez, Emma Stone and Sienna Miller are also some who are sure to impress. These ladies are known for taking chances with their looks, and though Jennifer Aniston usually goes for black, she is nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama, so she's likely to change it up for the occasion.
