Pitbull & Jennifer Lopez News: Miami Rapper Reportedly Crushing on 'Booty' Singer [Watch]
Love might be in the air for Latin artists, Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull.
A new report from Life & Style claims Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Christian Pérez, has been crushing hard on Lopez for a long time and plans to make his move on her now she is back on the market.
"He's always considered her to be his ideal type: curvy, talented and Latina," says a Life & Style source. "He's never made a move because she's always been linked with someone – first [ex- hubby] Marc Anthony, then Casper Smart. But now he's telling pals that he and J. Lo could be the next Brangelina. He's even come up with their mash-up name: Pit-Lo."
Though it appears Pitbull is infatuated with Lopez, the feelings might not be reciprocated on her end.
Back in June, Lopez told Wendy Williams she considers the Latino rapper to be like her brother and denied rumors they are romantically involved.
"He's like a brother to me," Lopez said. "Listen, he's mister worldwide. He ain't got no time for me. He's got a lot going on."

In a separate November interview with Maria Shriver, Lopez also denied seeing anyone. She revealed, after years of experiencing failed relationships, she made the decision to be alone and learn more about herself before committing to another relationship.
"I'm just enjoying being on my own. I feel like I need that right now. I've been in relationships kind of back-to-back my whole life and I just needed time," she said.
In her memoir "True Love," Lopez names mental and verbal abuse as the reasons for her past breakups, Life & Style reports.
"I've never gotten a black eye or a busted lip, but I've been in relationships where I have felt abused in one way or another: mentally, emotionally, verbally," she writes. "I know what it feels like for your soul to be diminished by the way your loved one is treating you."
Lopez was once again tied to ex-boyfriend Casper Smart, but according to Us Weekly, Lopez shot down those rumors.
"I think being on my own has been really great for me," she said. "There was a time where I was just like 'Ehhh, I'm just not going to deal with anybody, I just want to be on my own.' Now I'm getting back into the mix. For right now, I just have no announcements to make."
