'La Gata' Cast News 2015: Maite Perroni Explains Why Colección Fashion Line Is Designed for Latinas via Instagram [Watch]
Maite Perroni Colección was one built with Latinas in mind, according to the designer.
"La Gata" star Maite Perroni posted a message on her Instagram where she explained why her collection is perfect for Latinas.
"Latinas who accept, love themselves...who want to look good and feel better, who maximize your qualities and analyze the defects you project onto the world...and discover that you love yourself and you are passionate," she said. "And you know how to face life, how to live life, give life and be alive, who are who they are and don't follow stereotypes."
The lengthy post continued to name strong and real women as some of those she thought of when putting together her collection.
"For all you#maiteperronicoleccion !!!" Perroni said in both English and Spanish. "Remember you just have to go for it, happy girls are prettiest, accept the imperfection as perfection , always you."

Perroni's affordable clothing line launched in late 2014. In December, Perroni stopped by "El Gordo y La Flaca" and gave host Lili Estefan a skirt from the line. There she explained that she really wanted Latina women to get the most out of the collection.
"The line was created with lots of love for all Latina women," she said. "It's for all Latinas who want to share with their daughters or their families."
Meanwhile, Perroni was named one of the most beautiful faces in 2014 by TC Chandler. The actress came in at No. 10 marking her third year being featured on the list and her highest rank yet. Camilla Belle and Lupita Nyong'o were the only other Latinas to rank ahead of her, with Belle coming in at No. 4 and Nyong'o at No. 3.
