A dashcam video shows the police officer who killed an unarmed Montana man sobbing uncontrollably after the incident.

"I thought he was going to pull a gun on me," Billings Police Officer Grant Morrison sobbed. "He was, maybe he was."

Two other officers in the video came to Morrison's side to comfort him.

One patted officer patted Morrison's shoulder.

"You survived," he said.

Officer Morrison shot 38-year-old Richard Ramirez three times during a traffic stop, according to Yahoo! News. The officer pulled over the car carrying Ramirez and three other passengers in April in a high-crime area. Morrison ordered them to put their hands up. Ramirez instead reached for his waistband, prompting the Morrison to think he had a gun.

In the dashcam video, Morrison is seen asking Ramirez why he is moving his hands so much.

"Get your hands up. I will shoot you. I will shoot you. Hands up!" the five-year veteran police shouted.

Morrison then shot into the car, killing Ramirez who was high on methamphetamine.

Last Wednesday, a jury found the killing of Ramirez to be justified and no criminal charges were filed against the officer.

"I knew in that moment, which later was determined to be untrue, but I knew in that moment that he was reaching for a gun," Morrison testified. "I couldn't take that risk. ... I wanted to see my son grow up."

The officer, who said he feared losing his own life, shot and killed another man in 2013. He was also cleared in that case.

"It's the hardest decision I've ever had to make," Morrison said during his testimony, according to the Billings Gazette. "I wish I didn't have to make it. I wish I just knew he didn't have a gun, but I couldn't take the risk."

The jury deliberated for an hour before making its decision.
