Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that the official release of the much-awaited game The Sims 4 will be on fall 2014. This life simulation video game will be released both on Mac and PC. The Sims 4 is a successor of The Sims 3. It is a game where players are enable to simulate and control their Sims. They can engage in a variety of activities and can even opt to make relationships just like in real life. Unlike the other series, The Sims 4 has an open-ended gameplay and does not necessarily have a definite final goal in mind to reach.

As being patterned from the 2013 controversial release of the supposedly always-online Sim City as raised by Maxis, its developer, this new single-player game, The Sims 4 can enable players to enjoy the game even without an Internet connection but players would still need to acquire an Origin account for activation.

The Sims 4 features a new experience for gamers, it now has SmartSim wherein building houses along with modifying them can be easy. Another enhanced feature just like with any previous Sim games is the Create-A-Sim mode. First viewing and footage of this new game occurred in a press conference by EA's Gamescom 2013.

Along with these developments, EA additionally confirmed the release of shooter Titanfall this coming March 2014 under Respawn Entertainment.

As reported by Polygon.com, even if there is some sort of a delay of the official release of The Sims 4, EA is now looking forward for the new worldwide release date of this video game by fall 2014.
