Digital Trends mentioned in their own comparative review that the iPad Air is like the classic Apple tablet on a diet. Its screen size is still the same but just trimmed down to 7.4mm. This goes the same with its weight which dropped to 435g.

Just as how it was done for the iPhone 5s, the iPad Air is also packed with the A7 chip that serves as a much faster processor for the tablet. The iPad 4 though is still amazing at its own right with its A6X chip at 32 bit. If there's one thing that a lot of Apple fans will be happy about is the unchanged price of the iPad Air from when it was sold as iPad 4. LA Times reports that by November 1, anyone can get it for $499 for its 16GB, Wi-Fi only model. The succeeding price rates are as follows: $629 (16 GB LTE model) and $929 (128 GB LTE model).
As for the rest of its features like the battery and cameras, everything remains the same though Apple claims to make the Air capable of rendering 10 hours of battery life. As final verdict, it is worthwhile to give the new iPad Air a try. It won't hurt to try out something new for something that has the same price, right?
Apple also offers free download of the iWork and iLfe apps that were not included in the iPad 4.
