Easy, Yet Healthy Chicken Breast Recipes: Try Baked Breasts From the Oven, a Lemony Dish and More
Chicken is a very versatile meat high in protein and low in fat. There are so many things you can do with chicken that keep the poultry tasty and healthy. Let's take a look at some easy recipes.
Try chicken, with lemon and asparagus
Almost anyone can make this recipe from Pinch of Yum. All you need is 4-6 small boneless, skinless chicken breasts, as much (or as little) asparagus as you want to pair with the chicken, some salt, two tablespoons of butter, two lemons, 1/4 cup of flour, and one teaspoon of lemon pepper seasoning.
- Coat the chicken breasts with the flour and salt mixture
- In a large skillet pan, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
- Now, add the chicken. Saute the chicken 4-6 minutes on each side, until golden brown will do. Pour the lemon pepper right on the chicken in the pan.
- Take the chicken out, and now saute the asparagus with the lemons.
- When the asparagus and lemons are done, put the chicken back in and turn off the heat. Arrange the chicken, lemons and asparagus to make it look to your liking.
- Serve on a plate with the chicken on the bottom, the asparagus on the side and the lemons on top.
- Enjoy.
Try this even easier, yet healthy chicken dinner
You will need 2 small boneless, skinless chicken breasts (fresh, not frozen and weighing approximately one pound before cooking), your favorite bottle of marinade or sauce and salt and/or pepper to season.
- Start by throwing the fresh chicken breasts into a skillet on low to medium heat. Make sure to spray the skillet so the chicken does not stick.
- Pour your favorite sauce or marinade (try teriyaki) directly into the pan and begin flipping around the breasts.
- Continue to monitor the chicken while smothering it in your favorite sauce. Make sure to flip the breasts at equal intervals to cook both sides.
- Check the temperature with a meat thermometer and with a fork to make sure it is fully cooked.
- Serve on a plate and enjoy.
Make easy chicken in the oven
Men's Fitness recommends throwing a chicken breast in the oven, but dress it up nice with some oregano, tomatoes and cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Make sure the breast is cooked thoroughly and enjoy.
