Season 5 of "Walking Dead" will introduce a lot of new characters in the second half of the season. Andrew Lincoln told Entertainment Weekly that the show will feature Ross Marquand, the man who voiced Han Solo in an episode of "Phineas and Ferb."

Ross will appear on the AMC hit show during the last eight episodes but his character has not been determined as of yet. Speculation is that he will play Aaron, a character who first appeared in the 67th issue of the comic book that the show is based on.

Marquand is also known for playing Paul Newman in "The Flood" episode of "Mad Men," which recounted the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.

While fans predict which character Ross will play in the fifth season of "Walking Dead," he may also serve in the sixth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Creator of the "Walking Dead" Robert Kirkman previously said on "Talking Dead" that a "prominent" gay character from his comics would be introduced in the second half of Season 5 hinting that Ross may be playing Aaron.

The character first introduced in the comic book's 67th issue is a recruiter who lives with his work partner and boyfriend, Eric.

Speculation is that the show may follow the storyline based on the comic book where the group is reunited and back on the road looking for a new home. Aaron meets Rick's group while on the road to Washington.

Aaron lives in the Alexandria Safe-Zone which is the longest-running location featured in the comic book.

Screen Rant reported that one of the top five things wrong with Season 5 of "Walking Dead" is that it has too many throwaway characters. Since the start of the season over two dozen characters have been introduced and only a handful remains.
