Lady Gaga New Album 2013 Release Date and Tracklist: Singer Strips Naked in First Live Performance Of New Single 'Venus'
Lady Gaga, known for her controversial behavior and outrageous fashion style, once again managed to give an eye-opening performance to her fans by stripping down naked at London nightclub G-A-Y on Saturday night.
It seemed that the "Applause" singer took inspiration from ghosts and spirits, which was very appropriate for Halloween. She appeared onstage sporting a white petticoat-style gown, which definitely gave off a ghostly and spooky feel. She completed her look with a back-brushed, frizzy blonde wig and her pale makeup. The pop star enhanced her porcelain skin with white powder, lined her eyes with white eye shadow and eyeliner, and made her eyebrows paler.
Appearing extremely pale and ethereal, the 27-year-old singer performed her biggest hits including the first live performance of her new single "Venus," promoting her upcoming album, "Artpop." She moved her arms around in an exaggerated fashion during her performance, keeping her audience entertained and being focused on her.
However, this wasn't all of it. Toward the end of the song, which was around 2 a.m., Lady Gaga threw off her white dress to completely reveal her nudity, waving her arms in the air. She then slowly walked off stage, leaving her fans in total shock.
According to Gaga, there are messages behind her fashion choices and her song lyrics.
"All of my songs have meaning, all of my clothing has iconography buried into it," said the singer. "But by the same token, [my work] is just as special if you look at it in its shallowest form. The point is that it's memorable. [To make] commercial art be taken seriously is a difficult task."
Lady Gaga's forthcoming third studio album, "Artpop" is set for a release on November 11. She took Twitter to share her excitement, "Had an amazing night tonight at G-A-Y in London, after all these years you continue to inspire me. Can't wait for X-Factor tomorrow night!"
