Jennifer Lopez has heard plenty of rumors about herself in the time she's been famous, but there's one rumor that stands out among the rest.

Lopez stopped by Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" to talk about that time she read that she was really a small Guatemalan man, notes the LA Times.

"One time this makeup artist brought an article ... about the fact that I was actually a small Guatemalan man, and how I transformed myself into 'J. Lo,'" Lopez said on the Bravo show.

The tabloid article was apparently very descriptive and insisted Lopez was a man transformed into a woman.

"It had a detailed description of the surgeries that I went through, including something to make myself taller," Lopez said. "The whole wig and painfully putting each hair in. It was crazy. It was bizarre."

Lopez shrugged it off but still thought the whole article and rumor was "crazy."

On her appearance on the Bravo network, Lopez, who is well known for her famous assets, said when she first started acting, she stood out because she was not a size 1 or 2.

"So me being a size 6 was like, whoa! That's like wow!" Lopez said.

Responding to a question from a viewer about the most overrated booty, Lopez answered she thinks her booty is no longer the biggest in the business.

Lopez said her size bounced around from a size 6 to an 8 or a 10. She said she would gain weight and then lose it again.

People used to think she "had the hugest butt in the world." But not any more, especially compared to what's found on Instagram, she said.

Lopez is appearing in the new film "The Boy Next Door" and just appeared on the "Doctor Oz Show."

On the TV show, Lopez said she watches her diet and drinks tons of water.

Lopez, 45, has appeared in movies since the early 90s. Her music career was launched with the 1999 single "If You Had my Love."

Lopez now has two children and recently divorced ex-husband Marc Anthony in 2014.
