Dancing With The Stars Season 17 Week 7 Recap and Results: Snooki Eliminated, Watch Performances [VIDEOS]
After last week's non-elimination episode, the Dancing With The Stars season 17 week 7 episode became more intense as everyone was nervous about who will be eliminated next. Unfortunately, it was Jersey Shore's Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi who had to say goodbye to the dance reality show.
New York Daily News reports that Snooki's elimination is one of the greatest shockers of the season since she has been scoring high on the show's leader board for the week. Snooki shed tears even in the midst of her creepy zombie makeup and costume, just in time for the Halloween season.
The show also opened with an announcement that Cher will be the temporary replacement for Len Goodman in one of the guest judges' seats for the next episode. Rumor has it that the judge is set to spend another vacation leave which has been becoming more frequent lately.
TV Line wrote that the best dance of the night was the cha cha cha performance of Corbin Bleu. Aside from the perfect score, Corbin and his partner also received a standing ovation.
Then once again, there's Glee's Amber Riley with dancing partner Derek Hough shining as they performed a fierce Paso Doble. The two certainly pulled it off despite Amber having a knee in pain and Derek with a backache. Judge Bruno got a booing from the audience when he was the only one who raised a "9."
As for the couple who was also on the bottom two alongside Snooki, Bill Engvall and Emma Slater rendered a QuickStep. Elizabeth Berkley did well once again after having scored the first perfect 10s last episode. But as for Reality Rewind, the dress she wore was the only distraction to her performance. Brant Daugherty and Jack Osbourne both did a jive while Leah Remini performed a Salsa.
Did you think that it was the right choice for DWTS Season 17 to send Snooki home? What could Len's increasing vacations mean? Will he be leaving the show? What do you think?
