Recently, William Levy stepped out for a good cause but ended up walking away when the attention shifted to his personal life.

Levy attended a baseball game to support police officers who had been killed in the line of duty. Levy, as the interviewer pointed out, is a big baseball fan and regularly posts about the sport. His son, Tophy, is also into baseball.

"Every time I have a chance to support and to help someone, and even more so when it deals with people who have lost family members or children who have lost their parents or spouses who have lost their spouses at work for defending us," he told "Sal y Pimienta." "They lost their lives doing their jobs, and any time we have a chance to support people like that, I am the first to sign up."

Levy was also asked about Jennifer Lopez. Earlier this month he attended the Miami premiere of "The Boy Next Door" and posed with the actress. Lopez then shared an image of herself next to Levy on her Instagram page, but quickly deleted it.

"I didn't know anything about that, but we have a good relationship" Levy said when asked about Lopez.

The reporter could not even get his next question out because Levy then walked away. When Levy was being asked about rumors about Elizabeth Gutierrez he interrupted the reporter to say he wasn't OK with the direction of the interview.

"Let's talk about nice things," he said, as he walked away.

The reporter was trying to ask Levy if it was true he was the reason Gutierrez turned down a role in "Que te Perdone Dios." It has been rumored Levy felt his children would be unsafe in Mexico, so Gutierrez had to turn down the role.

Neither Levy nor Gutierrez has confirmed or denied if that is what happened. The rumor was first hinted at by Sabine Moussier, who ended up replacing Gutierrez on the telenovela.
