Cristian Castro Twitter and Naked: 'Azul' Singer Talks Being Nude, 'The Mexican Miley Cyrus' [Pic]
Cristian Castro is as well known for his music as for what he posts on social media. Plus, the Mexican singer, who last year shared a picture of himself in a thong, has no problem being compared to a controversial American singer.
"I didn't know I was going to be so famous with that image," he joked to the press in Chile, according to La Opinion. "Maybe I am in the wrong industry, and perhaps I should be in the nude. I really like being the Mexican Miley Cyrus."
It seems social media users really saw his resemblance to Cyrus with the now infamous image because they took the photo and superimposed onto Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball" video and her performance with Robin Thicke, according to Milenio.
When it comes to music, Castro has other musical influences.
The singer recently went to Cuba to attend a Silvio Rodriguez concert. According to Billboard, Castro will be recording songs by Rodriguez.
During his trip, Castro shared an image of himself with Rodriguez and shared the lyrics to Rodriguez's "El Necio."

The star, who is also known as El Gallito Feliz, turned 40 in December and in an interview said he was happy about where he was in life.
"I am in the middle of my life, and I like the maturity that I feel," Castro told Notimex, according to Informador. "I perceive myself as more restless and anxious. I do not know what is coming, but I see everything with the optimism that has given me experience. Today I know I want to achieve better performances and never relax."
Castro also said he wanted to make sure he was taking care of himself, which meant he would be taken on more athletic activities.
"...I t's already time to think of that," he said about his health.
Castro will be performing at the Pepsi Center WTC in Mexico on Feb. 7.
