Eighty percent of Latino adults in the U.S. use social media, beating out Caucasians at 70 percent and African Americans at 75 percent. Along with the Latino population, social media use continues to grow, which is shown by an increase from 72 percent of Hispanics in 2012 to 80 percent now (an overall increase of 8 percent), according to a Pew Report.

The star's festive Halloween celebration with boyfriend, Casper Smart was tweeted. The two, who were reportedly on the verge of a breakup, celebrated Halloween together on Thursday, Oct. 31, sporting matching ninja costumes, E! Online reports.

Smart tweeted: "CAUGHT!!! @jlo & I...#ninjas #sneaky #halloween," the 25-year-old dancer-choreographer captioned a photo of himself and Lopez channeling their inner-ninja, while Casper hangs from a tree as J.Lo looks ready to pounce.

Twitter is introducing a new element to its site, which Latinos might like as well.

Recently, Twitter, which has been built around 140-character snippets of text since its founding in 2006, has added photo and video previews to the feed of items that users see when they log onto the service from the Web or mobile applications. In the past, Twitter users had to click on a link to see a photo or video, The New York Times reports.

"The change, which helps Twitter catch up to recent moves by rivals like Facebook to showcase photos and videos more prominently, could help increase the use of Twitter as the company prepares to sell stock to the public for the first time in an offering expected to occur next week," the NY Times adds.
