'Rebel Heart' Album Leak and Hack: Madonna Praises Taylor Swift Songs and 'Princesses' Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry
Taylor Swift apparently has a fan for life in Queen of Pop Madonna.
who openly admits of her songs "I can't get them out of my mind."
Set to soon release her 13th album, the 56-year-old Material Girl offered her assessment of the still-rising Swift during a recent AAP interview, YahooNews.com reports. Madonna praised the 25-year-old "Shake It Off" crooner's songs
"I like Taylor Swift," she gushed. "I think she writes some really catchy pop songs. [I] can't get them out of my head."
Madonna also named a couple more pop industry princesses
"It's good to have princesses [like Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry]," she added. "It means there's lots of pretty dresses around."
Being two of the biggest female stars the music industry has ever known aren't the only things Madonna and Swift have in common. The two were both recently the victims of hack jobs that left each of them wondering what happened to the idea of privacy. Tunes from Madonna's latest album "Rebel Heart" were recently hacked and downloaded online, leading to the arrest of an unidentified Israeli man by FBI agents.
"For an artist, it's the ultimate violation to have your work taken from you before you're finished," said Madonna. "I can't begin to tell you how betrayed I felt. It's a great relief to know that [a suspect has been arrested], but also extremely disturbing."
Swift's Instagram and Twitter accounts were recently hacked, prompting Swift to reflect on Tumblr: "never a dull moment."
"My Twitter got hacked but don't worry, Twitter is deleting the hacker tweets and locking my account until they can figure out how this happened and get me new passwords."
Swift later added in a post to her more than 51 million Twitter followers saying "Cause hackers gonna hack, hack, hack, hack, hack..."
As for rumors, the culprits claimed they had nude photos of the pop superstar.
"Pssh, you'd love that wouldn't you. Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING," Swift responded.
