We all know about the Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar's verse on Big Sean's "Control." Following her performance at Power 105.1's Powerhouse 2013 event, Nicki Minaj recently responded to the fellow rapper's infamous verse during an interview with "The Breakfast Club."

Kendrick has called out a list of hottest rappers in hip-hop today in his "Control" verse, and Nicki Minaj's name is clearly missing on the list. During the interview, Minaj opens up and shares her honest feeling of being excluded on the list.

"I'm probably in the top five of the n---as he did mention, so go and do your motherf--kin' research," she says. "But, I also feel like he may be one of those respectful gentlemen that probably felt like, 'I don't want to say a female's name.' Or maybe he just don't think the kid is ill. But the kid knows the kid is ill, so I don't need to be on nobody's dick."

Nicki Minaj also responds to K-Dot's "King of New York" claim.

"I'm the Queen of New York; I'm the King of New York. Let me tell you why. Platinum albums," said Nicki Minaj. "Albums. Plural. Number one in five motherf--kin' countries, n---a. Don't play with me. You better respect my motherf--kin' gangsta, b---h. When you got an album that goes number one in Japan, the UK, Australia, America and Canada at the same motherf--kin' time, then you can speak my motherf--kin' name."

She definitely sounds a bit aggressive, however she tweets that her words are harmless.

"Lol. I'm going to post the full interview. It was all in fun. For the record, Hov is the king of NY in my eyes."

Nicki Minaj is currently working on her third studio album, which she will release next year. "The features are just the appetizer for the album," she talks elaborates on her upcoming record. "It's very different from anything I've done, which I'm surprised about. I'm not feeling like, 'Oh, I did this.' I'm feeling this is next level."
