Katy Perry is thought to have taken a subtle shot at Taylor Swift during her Super Bowl XVIX halftime performance by having her backup dancers sport polka dot clad bikinis similar to the one the "Shake If Off" crooner has been known to wear.

While dating Conor Kennedy in 2012, the now 24-year-old Swift was frequently photographed frolicking around Cape Cod wearing a red, high-waisted bikini similar to the one Perry's dancers wore during her halftime rendition of "California Gurls" on Sunday.

Mere hours later, HollywoodLife.com reports Swift showed she was not about to take the purported diss laying down, sardonically telling the website "she saw the halftime show and thought that Missy Elliott had a great performance."

Elliott and rocker Lenny Kravitz both performed with Perry during her set, with Elliott reenacting such classic hits as "Get Ur Freak On," "Lose Control" and "Work It."

Swift and Perry's feud began in 2014 when Perry hired three back up dancers close to Swift to accompany her on her tour. Swift subsequently wrote a song OK Magazine reports was about Perry entitled "Bad Blood."

Later, in a Rolling Stone interview, Swift also lamented, "for years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think 'are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?"'

As for Perry's latest dig, a source tells HollywoodLife.com, "Taylor will get Katy back, but she will do it via music video or through some other high profile situation. Taylor wants the last laugh."
