Katy Perry exes Russell Brand and Dj Diplo tweeted sweet messages to Perry in honor of her Super Bowl halftime performance on Sunday, Feb. 1.

Brand, who was married to Perry for a year in 2010, tweeted good luck to Perry prior to her performance.

Perry was allegedly unamused by Brand's public display of support, however. The Sun via The Mirror UK reports that Perry could not believe Brand would tweet her after all the heartbreak and turmoil she endured during their brief marriage. The Mirror reports Brand broke up with Perry via text message a year after they wed.

"She couldn't believe he'd say that after everything he put her through," said a source from the Sun, adding, "This was the man who, quite literally, destroyed her heart. He slagged her off publicly around the world. Then on the biggest night of her life professionally, he could not resist involving himself."

Meanwhile, Perry's recent ex-boyfriend, Diplo, live tweeted throughout Perry's performance and showed his support for the "Dark Horse" singer during her show. Check out Diplo's tweets below.

Since divorcing Brand, Perry has gone on record to say that the split with Brand was one of the worst things she's gone through in her life and caused her to go into a deep depression.

"It was sad, and there were thoughts, but there were never actions, thankfully," Perry told Australia's "The Project" in reference to contemplating suicide.

Following the split, Perry wrote and recorded the single "By the Grace of God" that details the struggles she went through after ending her marriage.

"[It] is the first song that I wrote coming to make this record, when I was in a different place, I was in a darker place," she said about the song, which is featured on her fourth studio album, "Prism." "That song is evident of how tough it really was at a certain point. I asked myself, 'Do I want to endure? Should I continue living?' All the songs [on Prism] are real-life moments."

The Daily Mail reports that Perry is currently dating her on-again off-again boyfriend, John Mayer.
