Catching Fire Premiere Date, Trailer & News Update: Jennifer Lawrence Talks Fun Times in Hunger Games Set
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire celebrated its first Global Fan Day yesterday via Global Google+ Hangout fan Q&A with the main cats of the film franchise. During the short online video chat, the cast revealed that even while filming the action-packed film The Hunger Games, they still found time to enjoy in between takes, having as much fun as they can.
It is certainly good to know that hardworking celebrities also know how to have a little fun even while filming. Working on such a big movie as The Hunger Games is no exception though.
According to E! Online, Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta in the movie, had so much fun with co-actor Woody Harrelson, who stars as Haymitch Abernathy. The (fake?) love interests of Katniss (played by Jennifer Lawrence) shared that while shooting a scene at the convention center in Georgia, he spent a good time running around with Woody, looking like "total idiots".
Jennifer Lawrence also had her share of fun moments; one in particular, included a few too many drinks. The actress shared in the live Q&A that one time she got drunk on set with her co-stars - the first time she ever got drunk at work. Hutcherson jokingly added that with that much fun, it will definitely not be her last to do that.
Director Francis Lawrence wasn't spared the antics of Lawrence, Hutcherson and Harrelson. When asked who's the most difficult to handle on set, Lawrence shared: "It's usually Jen and Josh and Woody, the trio...when that trio gets together..."
Aside from answering questions posted on the event's Google+ page, six lucky fans were also chosen to participate via webcam and ask the actors questions themselves. Present at the online Q&A were Lawrence, Hutcherson, Director Francis and Liam Hemsworth.
Aside from the Google+ Hangout, the Global Fanday included a Facebook Fan Event, a Twitter Takeover and a Tumblr Fireside chat.
The U.S. premiere for the Catching Fire is set on November 18, it will open in theaters nationwide on November 22.
