Top Rank Promotions CEO Bob Arum expressed frustration over the status of the negotiation for the super fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr., but the famed promoter is not ready to set a deadline.

Previous reports indicated that the long-awaited super fight is close to happening after Pacquiao and Mayweather met face-to-face in a hotel in Miami last week, but the camps of the two fighters have yet to finalize a deal.

Arum voiced out his frustration over the long negotiation for the super fight, saying that he has never experienced such difficulties in his long career as a boxing promoter.

"Nobody's listening to anybody. I have no idea what's going to happen," Arum said in an interview with Ring TV. "I've never been through a situation as crazy as this. I'm tired of it. I've negotiated for 50 years and I've never been through some s-t like this."

Pacquiao, who is coming off a sensational unanimous decision win over Chris Algieri in their World Boxing Organization welterweight title fight, has reportedly agreed to undergo random drug testing, which was the reason why the first negotiation for the fight in 2009 did not come to fruition.

According to reports, the former pound-for-pound king also accepted a 60-40 split on fight purse, and the fight date and venue have also been agreed upon -- May 2 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The only known hurdle at this point is the rivalry between HBO and Showtime, but both networks have already expressed desire to work together just to make the fight happen.

Arum declined to give specifics on as to why the negotiation is taking too long, but he said that there are "bizarre" things that are happening as of late.

"It is craziness. It is just crazy," Arum added. "If you knew what was going on, you would know how bizarre it is. But maybe you go through this bizarreness before you cross the goal line. I have nothing else to say except that it's not over until it's over."

When asked how long they are willing to wait for Mayweather to decide, Arum said in an interview with BoxingScene that they will not set a "hard and fast" deadline because they are really determined to finalize the fight, which is expected to break boxing records in terms of revenue.
