Selena Gomez is contemplating skipping out on Grammy Awards night altogether if bad boy ex Justin Bieber follows through on his plans to be in attendance for Sunday night's star-studded event.

According to HollywoodLife.com, the 22-year-old "Come & Get It," star also planned to use the night to publicly confirm her budding, new romance with Zedd -- provided Bieber isn't in the house.

Slated to release a new album soon, the 20-year-old Bieber could use the extra buzz, rubbing elbows with some of the industry's biggest stars.

But almost as much as his music, Bieber's mind has clearly been on his ex in recent times. He recently vowed to win her back and said, if that means having to change his ways, he's prepared to do so.

Late last month, Bieber posted on social media, "I know I haven't always made it easy. ... I will always try to be better."

A source close to him later told HollywoodLife, "He's finally following through with the changes Selena been asking for, he's focused, he's working, he's topped the crazy partying."

TMZ also reports Bieber recently received a "glowing review" from his probation officer and was commended for staying out of trouble and being truthful. Bieber is serving probation for vandalizing a neighbor's home with eggs last year.

But it still might be enough to win back Gomez.

"She'll be trying to avoid Justin," a source told HollywoodLife. "She's not looking for any drama."

The 25-year-old Zedd is also nominated for an award for the "Break Free" song he produced for Ariana Grande.

"Zedd is real, isn't a brat, doesn't have an ego that's off the charts, and he's embracing his talent and doing stuff with it," the source said. "He cherishes all that he has and enjoys his life. Justin's ego and 'me first' attitude is something that Selena doesn't like. Zedd is a real guy and down-to-Earth."
