Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian posted another photo on social media that sparked controversy. This time, she was questioned by Illuminati conspiracists, and she officially denied the rumor that she is a member of the cult via Twitter.

While celebrating her best friend Brittny Gastineau's birthday, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" reality star posted up a collage of photos on Instagram, which featured the pictures of the two in the framework of different shapes, including a pyramid triangle and one that looked like an eye. Some claimed it resembled the Illuminati, because according to urban legend, members of a secret society use shapes to represent the all-knowing evil eye and Satan.

Kim Kardashian seemed very confused of what was going on, and she quickly addressed the rumors of her being part of the secret society on Twitter. "I posted a IG collage for my bff @BrittGastineau & people say it's the illuminate! What is the illuminate? A religion? ... I'm a Christian," she said.

"[Is this] A cult? ...not into that sorry! It had an eye on it, which reminded me of Britt bc her company 'eye on glam' & reminds me of against evil eye bracelets we wear," Kardashian also continued by explaining to the social media why she chose a triangle and an eye-shape, the two rumored symbols, for her collage framework design.

"So sorry guys it was just a cool design I saw on one of those IG collage apps," she added.
